- Listen To Make Ears Happy
- Two amazing comedy specials: Phil Hanley: OOH LA LA, Matteo Lane: Hair Plugs & Heartache

- On tattoos: big guys get tattoos. When skinny guys get them (me me meeee), they look like drug addicts.
- Loving yourself is changing the water filter on time (as opposed to when the water starts tasting like it's alive).
- Dating is such a physical, mental, financial burden that the government should really consider intervening. Could you imagine if that happened? Like, the government just set you up with someone when you turn 18? And, knowing the government, this'd be an outright mess. But it kinda sounds nice. Like almost like The Giver vibes? Ok not nice anymore.
- The blessing of having a shitty life: I make my friends and family feel better by sharing how awful my life is. And...that in turn makes me feel better, I guess?

- The "lukewarm" yes, comes to you naturally. Your partner is playing a reality - "I've been loving this trip!" - and you say yes, but in an unsure, lukewarm way. Something's up. Something you've tee-d up.
- Explain why a scene is important to you. Why is this moment so important, so critical, to your character?
- Say things about your partner. "You're sweating." "You seem anxious." "You're so...happy." "You seem sad."
- In more grounded play, you can switch statuses (Impro by Keith Johnstone) quickly for an interesting effect. Phil Hanley (special linked above) does this pretty often in his crowdwork when he flirts, fluctuating between playing low-status with a girl he likes, and high-status with their partner. His crowdwork is a good example of commanding a > 2 person scene.
- He's also a good example of a person playing someone high status, to the point of delusion. As someone high status, you're always right, even when it's obvious you've made a mistake. You can also make up history, pretend obvious things didn't happen, etc. You can also play that, while also pretending to be really dumb.
