Joyous birth!
Appreciate the birthday wishes everyone! Great to finally be turning 18!
I know, I know! Only 18!? How is he so accomplished?? Ahaha. When people find out how old I am, they ask questions like "wasn't it strange to have been 10 when you were in college"? I always reply, "not nearly as weird as it was to be -2 in elementary school"! Oha, ahaha! Ohhh. No, it really was difficult — being a child prodigy was always my identity! But now, having risen to the occassion (2 Nobel Peace prizes, a Daytime Emmy, 2 NYT bestsellers, and 4 grandchildren later!), I've been able to separate my goals from...well...real life! Hah. What joy I feel, standing (digitally) before you all! It really is a beautiful thing!!
To my mom, dad, sister, and grandchildren: I love you! (You just a little extra, Juliette, for your recent Presidential Medal of Freedom! And at the young, young age of 1 — what a delight!) Thank you mom, dad, so so much, for always investing in my future, even when I didn't inhabit a human form! Seriously, had you not pushed me to take plasma physics when I was -9, would I even be here?? OhahaHA, ohhhhh. Ohhhhhhhh. Laughter is the soul's deepest balm — is it not?!
